Copraxis were finalists in the Ecovision Wanneroo Demonstration Home competition with this entry which incorporated a number of features targeting the competition's objectives of sustainable and affordable housing design. These included a passive solar-controlled corridor, ventilated trombe wall using thermal mass to maintain thermal comfort in bedrooms and onsite food production (composting, vegetable garden and fruit trees). A versatile, adaptable design allowing 3-bedroom, family home or 2 no. 1-bedroom townhouse formats was intended to enable adaptation to suit the changing needs of residents over the building's life cycle.
